Supermarine Spitfire Mk Vb

Spitfire was one of the most legendary fighters in WW2. It's prototype flew for the first time in 1936 and was used up tp mid-1950's. There was more than 20 versions of it.

Notes: This model shows a danish Spitfire. In 1942 danish businessmend donated RAF three Spitfires, of which this on was named "Valdemar Atterdag" (danish king in 1300's). It was flown by danish volunteer Aksel Svendsen, but was shot down in 24 April 1942 and died.
