Fokker Dr.1

Fokker Dr.1 was another famous fighter in WW1. The famous german ace Manfred von Richthofen, "Red Baron" became most famous with this plane although he flew many other planes, too.

The type was designed as an opponent to british Sopwith Triplane. It cane operational in 1917 1917, and as Sopwith Camel and many others, was removed after the war.

Notes: This model shows it in Richtofen's colours in March 1918. There were variations in it's colours (white tail etc), but in March 1918 it really was all-red.
